The New Limb

What a seriously awesome day.

I had never met any of the band members before this session, and didn’t fully understand what the location we were shooting at entailed. When I walked in the warehouse, saw the jet fuselage next to the pool and some beers hanging around, I knew it was going to be a good afternoon. We hung out, did some music things, drank some drank – it just felt like a group of friends doing group-of-friend things.

My favorite video from this set is probably Strength in Our Bones. Or actually, it might be Tell Us Your Name. I don’t know. They’re both so good. The vibes coming out of that airplane were so righteous, the whole set was so stripped down but it ended up sounding so sweet. Cheers to New Limb.
